We have 30 years of experience in development and manufacturing of butyl sealants.
KISO is an international supplier of high quality extruded butyl rubber sealants and we are working closely with our partners and customers to secure the best solution for every purpose.
Our products are used widely throughout Europe within construction, roofing & cladding, caravans, wind energy industry, general industry etc.
Cut EPDM strips without outer skin
KISO 05 Filler is strips of EPDM closed cellular rubber, cut and slit from large “mattresses”. (Without outer skin).
We have manufactured the KISO 05 for 45 years and our extensive experience has lead to long term relations with many of our customers.
KISO 05 is used for windows, doors and various sealing applications – mainly by customers in Scandinavia and Northern Europe.
KISO History
Change of ownership in 2014
Danish company with more than 40 years of experience within the rubber industry
KISO was founded in 1971 in Køge, at that time centre of the Danish rubber and chemical industries. Initially the main product focus was producing tape to pre-cut cell rubber (Our KISO 05). In 1982 KISO was taken over by an English Offshore company and a few years later KISO Holding in Switzerland bought all shares in KISO A/S.
In 1985/1986 production of butyl started. Ever since, butyl products share of KISO’s total business has been growing and production facilities are under continuous development.
In 1994 our first production line for EPDM cell rubber profiles (KISO 141) was commissioned and in 2007 the second line was commissioned to meet growing demands from our customers. Until 2009 KISO actually produced its own tape. Today this is outsourced to ensure focus on our core business.
In March 2014 KISO was taken over by a Danish owner. KISO products have always been known in the market for their high quality and since the change in ownership the company has been through a major development ensuring a strong customer focus.
